Idyllically located at the Badischen Bergstrasse in between Heidelberg and Weinheim, in beautiful Schriesheim. The castle is surrounded in harmony by forests, meadows and vineyards and represents a popular destination with a well-known and well-established excellent gastronomy.

Amidst vineyard rises the old castle tower of the Strahelnburg. A historical place which once was stage for Heinrich von Kleist's mid-evil play "Cathy of Heilbronn".
